In more common, less complex cases, defective drain runs are repaired by means of trenchless technology. This type of repair is commonly referred to as lining, or Cured In Place Pipework (CIPP).

Various techniques are used for this including more specialized multiple bend lining. The pipework can be from 75mm up to a maximum of 1000mm in diameter.

In cases where the lining repair crosses a junction, connections can be cut out by the use of a Lateral Cutter to allow the continuous flow of water.

Trenchless technology is a non-intrusive repair method and eliminates the disruption that excavation can cause and no matter what size or material the drain is we will have the solution you need.

Chelmer also have the capabilities to re-form and re-round deformed and collapsing Pitch Fibre pipework.

Customer needs are a priority for Chelmer and as such are considered when deciding on the chemical mix to cater for asthmatics, sufferers of allergens and to minimize odour during lining works.
