With over 50 years combined experience, Chelmer has not only the trades, services and disciplines but time-served experience.

Martin Edwards
Company Director
Essex Office

Martin started in the Site Investigation industry in 1995 as a Quality Technician and he progressed to Quality and Technical Director bringing with him nearly 20 years’ experience within the industry. Martin plays an integral part of the continued growth and success of Chelmer and now as Company Director oversees the day to day running of Chelmer whilst still maintaining his previous roles within the company.

Hanging on to his career Martin still plays football and is also a keen golfer.

Matthew Proctor
Technical Director
London Office

Matt joined the Chelmer family in order to form the Consultancy. The department has since gone from strength to strength, with a team of Specialists now covering a wide ranging brief of Geotechnical and Environmental Ground Investigations.

With over 20 years of experience within the industry Matt is now Technical Director in addition to overseeing the day to day running of the Consultancy.

Recently retired from a glittering Rugby career, Matt now spends any spare time demonstrating his increasing prowess around the golf greens.
